Roshni
Pecora, Artistic Director
(Pointe, Pointe Variations, Technique, Modern, Ballet)
Roshni holds an
Associate's Degree from Dean College in Franklin, MA. Roshni
was a member of the Dean Dance Company where she held leading roles
in ballet and modern choreography. She was on full scholarship
throughout her college career and graduated with high honors. Roshni
has had the opportunity to study with Jill Silverman of American
Ballet Theatre, Andrew Pap at the University of the Arts, Adrienne
Hawkins of Impulse Dance and the legendary Asaf Messer of the Bolshoi
Ballet. Roshni remains active as a teacher and student by participating
in seminars and taking class throughout the region.

Phyllis
George, Assistant Artistic Director
(Pointe, Technique, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary)
Phyllis began
receiving recognition of her accomplishments at the age of 12
when she received a Carnegie scholarship for summer dance education.
She was 1 of 15 young dancers chosen to perform with the highly
acclaimed Bolshoi Ballet in the mid 60's. Highlights of her career
include performing as a member of American Ballet Theatre and
with the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. Phyllis has been teaching
locally for over 20 years.

Debbie Beal
Debbie has been teaching dance to students of all ages and levels for over 20 years. She is a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston, The American Society, and a 1985 graduate from the DTCB/AS Dance Education Training Course. As a dancer, Debbie has performed professionally with the "Jazz Connection" and has received many gold medals and special awards such as "Most Potential", "Most Enthusiastic" and "Best Smile". She has led her own students to receive many gold medals, high score awards and various special awards both regionally and nationally. Recently, her students qualified to participate in the "Dance Offs" at ADA's National Competition. She has trained with many dance legends such as David D. Marie, the Golds, Frank Hachett and Mary Jane Strondak, and continues to train in Boston and New York. A graduate of Northeastern University, Debbie is certified as a personal trainer, a group fitness instructor, Zumba and CPR. She also works part time as a Physical Education Instructor at Northern Essex Community College. Debbie's love and vitality for dance is evident in her work.

Cassandra Boucher
Cassandra began her dance training under the direction of Phyllis George and Roshni Pecora at the New England Civic Ballet. While dancing with New England Civic Ballet Cassandra held both leading and supporting roles in numerous productions including Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and The Enchanted Glen. In addition to NECB, Cassandra’s training includes studying with Boston Dance Company, Ballet Theatre of Boston, and The Dance Complex. She has the experience of studying with Allegra Kent of The New York City Ballet, and modern dancer Caitlin Corbett. While obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Cassie performed and choreographed dances with Salem State College’s Repertory Dance Theatre.

Shelby Lambert
Shelby graduated from Dean College in 2004 with a degree in dance. She has taught all forms of dance including modern, lyrical, hip-hop and cheer dance. She was a cheerleading captain and choreographer for 6 years. She has studied dance throughout New England including with the Alvin Ailey Dance Complex in Boston and at Steps in New York City. She was among the top 10 performers auditioning in Walt Disney World.

Rebecca Shelton
Rebecca Shelton began her ballet training in Acton, Massachusetts at The Acton School of Ballet when she was 3 years old. She continued her studies at Middlesex Ballet Academy in Pepperell, Massachusetts, and later, The Academy of Ballet Arts in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. At the age of 17 she started training with Jackie Cronsburg, Carter Alexander, Jessica Wilson, and Adam Ludars on full scholarship. While there she was asked to join The Massachusetts Youth Ballet directed by Jackie Cronsburg. In 2005 she attended Orlando Ballet’s summer intensive on partial scholarship and was asked to stay and join the company by Orlando Ballet’s director Fernando Bojones.In addition to attending Orlando Ballet’s summer intensive she also attended American Academy of Ballet, Boston Ballet, and The Kirov Academy of Ballet where she was able to train with Oleg Vinogradov, Alla Sisova, and Vladimir Djouloukhade. As well as North Carolina Dance Theatre with Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Marianna Tcherkassky, Armando Luna and Terrence Orr, on partial scholarship and Ballet Workshop of New England with Adam Ludars, Truman Finney, Kennet O’berly, Gloria Govrin and Sandra D’Amelio.

Stephanie M. Bergeron
Stephanie began her dance training locally at the young age of 3 and began competing at the age of 5. While competing, Stephanie participated in regional and national competitions such as Dance Ovations, New England Dance Festival, American Dance Awards, Eastern Dance Awards, and Showstoppers. During which she won countless medals from bronze to ultimate gold, high overall titles, and special awards including: “nicest feet”, “fluidity”, “precision award”, and “moving musicality.” During her dance career, Stephanie has studied with such notable teachers as Andre Bossov, Natalia Nikolaevn Getman, Irina Lebedeva, Anna and Vladimir Karpov and Roseann Ridings. In 2003, Stephanie joined the New England Civic Ballet studying under Roshni Pecora and Phyllis George. She has since held various roles in NECB’s productions such as Snow Queen, Chocolate, Coffee in the Nutcracker and The Blue Fairy of the Grand Pas De Quatre in The Sleeping Beauty. In addition to holding leading roles in NECB productions Stephanie has also been accepted/attended to Bossov Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive where she performed in productions of Don Quixote, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty. Stephanie continued her dance career and education while obtaining a bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a minor in psychology. She is also a Massachusetts state certified emergency medical technician in Lowell, MA.
